Fascial Fitness is "The Missing Link"
Fascia, also known as connective tissue, is our largest body organ system. Composed of collagen, elastin and water - it can get dry, and restricted with age, activity level, surgeries, injuries and wounds.
It is very densely woven, covering and penetrating every muscle, bone, nerve, artery and vein, as well as all of our internal organs including the heart, lungs, brain and spinal cord. It does not show up in X-rays, MRI or CT Scans. When it gets hard, dry and crusty through age or injury, it impinges our arteries, veins, nerve and lymphatic pathways.
Unhealthy fascial leads to pain and inflammation which can keep us from doing all the things we love to do!
Fascial Health has been identified as the The Missing Link in Health and Fitness.
